Hi, my name is Evron and I’ve been a hobbyist in the aquarium industry since a young age of 13. My introduction to the hobby was simply due to my parents refusal to having a dog. As a result my dad took me to a local Petland Discount. Where I instantly fell in love with tropical fish. We brought home a pair of guppy’s. After a few weeks of learning how to care for them I found myself intrigued on the chemistry in water quality. Tropical fish had a hold on me for years, from having guppy’s to African cichlids and green Severum’s and Discus. At this point I was comfortable in my hobby, I trained myself in different ways to maintain perfect water quality. Then I decided to challenge myself and I got into saltwater fish. This was a huge turning point for me in the hobby, it’s was love at first sight all over again. The main thing I learned in this hobby is there is so many right ways to maintain an aquarium. The basis is knowing your water chemistry, and being consistent with care. Having steady parameters without large fluctuations is ideal. Once this was achieved, enjoying the aquarium was much more rewarding.
My journey in this hobby has not always been easy but it has taught me so much about myself and the world we live in. That’s why I have always enjoyed sharing my experiences with family and friends. Anytime someone visited my home, the first thing they would see were my tanks. The reef tank always captured my guest’s greatest attention. Especially after I explained that everything inside was actually a living creature.
My freshwater tank came in a close second, as it was a fully planted tank with shrimp. My personal preference for tanks is to look as natural as possible. So my goal has always been to emulate nature by using live corals in a marine tank. And plants in a freshwater aquarium.
After many requests from friends and family for help on setting up and maintaining an aquarium of their own. I decided to take the next step and start my own aquarium maintenance company.
